More than 100,000 industrial decision-makers arrived in Chicago last week to attend the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) looking for ideas and hoping to find answers to their manufacturing problems. There were many new technologies demonstrated at the show, including the latest in laser technologies available at the LaserStar Technologies booth in the Metal Forming and Fabricating / Laser Pavilion. The people that stopped by to visit our booth at IMTS 2012 know what they need to succeed in today’s business world; they must keep up with technology and stay ahead of the competition to do so. They were there to learn more about our latest laser product line and how laser technology can make an impact in their business.
The following video shows LaserStar Technologies President and C.O.O., James Gervais giving a brief laser product demonstration of our most recent product line of laser welding and laser marking systems.
Many of the products shown in this laser product video are top sellers in the industrial manufacturing sector including our very popular line of manual laser welding systems which include our best selling iWeld Laser Welding System and our very popular 1900 Series Industrial Laser Welding System which is designed to be custom configured for a wide range of industrial welding applications. High precision motion devices are engineered to integrate into the laser welding chamber of the 1900 Series line of laser welders and enhance the systems capabilities.
Also of great interest, was our Multi-Purpose Laser Welding Workstation which is a Class I Enclosure that easily integrates with a variety of laser processing technologies and motion systems while providing full featured HMI (Human Machine Interface) capabilities for total process management.
Micro component manufacturers such as the aerospace, electronics and medical device markets were there to see our fiber laser welding system. Our FiberStar laser welding system is the latest in fiber laser technology. The benefit of this technology is that very little heat is generated at the weld point allowing users to easily weld > 0.025mm from complex, heat sensitive, intricate parts while providing unparalleled parameter flexibility from 0 – 100% duty cycle.
As a result of the strong interest in our 7700 Series with Universal Jig at the show, LaserStar has decided to package a very special laser system to this marketplace. This system will include our 7700 Series Industrial Mold Repair Welding System and will include the Universal Jig with an Adjustable Work Table. This package will be available with a very aggressive pricing package now through the end of 2012.
The IMTS Chicago Show was also the first tradeshow where we debut our new G4 FiberCube Laser Marking System. “We are very excited about the release of our New G4 FiberCube Laser Marking System for 2012. Our new system has many new state-of-the-art features and it now makes it highly affordable for industrial manufacturers to own a Laser Marking System,” states James E. Gervais, President & C.O.O.
Some of the new features that are now available in our FiberCube Laser Marking System include the following:
10, 20, 40 Watt Models
New Body Style – Multiple Size Chambers
Large Viewing Chamber Window
Digital Messaging Display
Next Generation CAD2 Operating Software
Database Communication Software
New Rotary Devices for Standard and Custom Shape Rings
Mechanical or Motorized Z Access
Custom Chamber Sizes Available
